SNIPPY SAYS SENTINEL A BULLY AND A COWARD
BULLY;
Bully Wasn't Always Negative
The earliest meaning of English bully was “sweetheart.” The word was probably borrowed from Dutch boel, “lover.” Later bully was used for anyone who seemed a good fellow, then for a blustering daredevil. Today, a bully is usually one whose claims to strength and courage are based on the intimidation of those who are weaker.
I know all about bullies. As the smallest kid in my school , growing up, I had my share. I know this one thing, 'Bullies are Cowards putting up a fake front".
Snippy Snip's specific complaint of bullying was the way I treated William Lee Hon.
Ask the mother whose high school son Hon threatened to prosecute if she ever spoke to The Sentinel. That is when I knew Hon was a bully. He Liked throwing that power around.
The Sentinel gave him a dose of freedom of speech he didn't like and he escalated. So predictable. Hon attacked The Truth with lies and he lost before he started. The rest is history.
TOPIC: Blocking police radio transmissions from the public
Talk about a basic right of the poeple to know but it seems East Texas law enforcement is teaching the big cities a thing or two. Once Lacy Rogers left office, you had to have big bucks and be an emergency responder or know someone to be able to follow a scanner in San Jacinto county. "Encrypted channel" and of course cell phones have taken all that traffic off of the civilian airwaves.
Used to, Radio Shack could fix you up and Lacy Rogers' idea of an encrypted channel was to just have permission to piggy back on the private tower of the largest rancher with the good doctor's permission.
I believe that the explosion of 'auditors' is due to that lack of transparency law enforcement has taken on.
