MALE TEACHER ARRESTED

Jerry Michael Cobb has been arrested in Angelina County according to sources clarifying a statement put out by the Onalaska Independent School Dist.   The origianal OISD statement forwarded to The Sentinel by a parent brought up the topic but more or less said, "nothing to see here."

      Yesterday's arrest says otherwise.  

     When the administrator, Mrs. Byrd was provided with verbal statements from students and then video evidence by a father of one of the girls, instead of firing and arresting Cobb, he was reassigned to a class of non verbal female students.  

  The inaction of the ISD administration for well over a year and multiple complaints has outraged several parents.

    Some weeks ago, we reported that SRO Tammy Heeth was reported by a parent whose female highschool student complained that Heeth was peeking into the bathroom stall as she was on the toilet.  No action was reported as having been taken on that incident.

   "I was looking in to see if she was smoking." was the defense Heeth offered according to the student's parent.  We did report the allegations but now the total lack of action reflected by Cobb's arrest makes the Heeth story much more credible.

   The Sentinel did win the battle as the Attorney General for the investigation records on former Splendora ISD officer, Sean Allison who was fired for carrying on a relationship with a Jr. High girl.  He promptly hired on with Onalaska P.D. and was Shoellhorns patrol partner for a bit.

HON'S TRACTOR GETTIN NO TRACTION

An early morning post by the deflated Lee Hon claimed, "It is too early to take a victory lap.  There is still work to do." He is talking about the run off between Judge Murphy and challenger Larry Pfeil.

   No Lee, it is not too early.  The voters sent your lying ass a really clear message even if you were hiding behind an empty headed ninny to throw your rocks and missed it.  

    How does it feel knowing you were the lead balloon that drug freyer, et al, down to a loss as predicted by The Sentinel?  Between you and the criminals, Shoellhorn and Caruso, the voters knew exactly who they didn't want and said it plainly.

   Let me make another prediction here.  You will start calling Roy Grant who made an impressive showing despite no political experience by having a solid and consistant message, and try to recruit him to throw his support behind Pfeil.

   If you think that all the ammo proving Pfeil is unfit to serve as a county judge has been spent on this primary, you haven't been payig attention to the past political history.  There is more.  Lol, Ask Pfeil and see if he will come clean with you before the runoff.  

   Another prediction.  The voters will hear a clear and concise message from Roy Grant that will include his lifelong history here, his uncondiditonal love for Polk County and its people and who he supports moving forward.
