POINTBLANK MEET N GREET

We as taxpayers and voters do appreciate the effort and opportunity to meet the candidates.  

Candidates for 258th District Judge and SJC DA were there and spoke along with many others.  Judge Kitchens was direct and informative abut the real challenges of being a District Judge.  With all Freyer ever talks about is his experience putting people in jail, Judge Kitchens pointed out that the 258th bench doesn't need a 'One Trick Pony" but rather the great depth of experience that he has already and continues to bring to the 258th bench.  One reader shared that they overheard Judge Kitchens remarking to a constituent at the meet, "I don't have any pickles to peddle but I do have 5o years of experience."

     One of the more interesting speeches was that delivered by attorney and DA candidate Greg Magee concerning the current state of the SJC's DA's office.  One reader called in after the event and characterized Judge Magee's speech as, "A very polite punch in the nose."  Nothing vile, no venom just hard hitting facts of the public record.

   Former Commissioner, Ray McCoppin has once again done a great public service and video'd the event and has just published it on his YouTube site HERE.

    One interesting point brought out by Judge Kitchens was that the case Freyer keeps harping on taking 5 years took that long only because the prosecutor's office took that long to get the DNA evidence processed.  "And you (freyer) were working there". Judge Kitchens clarified.  

   By the time the after speakers mingling took place, it was reported that freyer was scowling and red faced.  

   Even current SJC DA Dillon took up freyer's tactics of lying on his oppoent,  The contention that Judge Greg Magee has no criminal law experience is just absolute hogwash (polite for bald face lie).  The sad thing is that Todd could have called either of his former bosses, Lee Hon or The Hornorable Robert Hill Trapp and asked either of them about Judge Magee's extensive experience as an attorney including criminal law.  When I interviewed Judge Magee to verify my memory was correct about his experience, Judge relied, "I paid off all of my student loans practicing criminal defense law."

  Judge Magee had already served years as a SJC Sheriff Deputy and then as an elected constable BEFORE he worked and paid his way through law school and got his law degree and B.A.R. card.  He is very knowledgable about criminal law and then so many years on the bench have made him a great resource in this county.  You ask any of our JP's who they go to for counsel and Judge Magee's name will be at the top of their list.

   Overall, based on feedback from the community, the event was appreciated and a success.  If there were any reservations it was that some important questions were overlooked in favor or less controversial topics and instead of sharing the communication from SJC District Clerk Candidate that Katey Nelson that she was sorry to miss the event but was quite ill and running fever yesterday.  Instead she was clumped in with the plain ole no shows like Tammy Currie.

SENTINEL EMAIL COMPROMISED

Our long published yahoo.com email account has been compromised.  After sending a simple screen snip jpg file to a recipient this am, they called warning the email arrived with the same 'subject' line but contained two pdf files that I did NOT attach to it.  This persons extensive anti virus alerted that both pdf files were'phishing'. and gave them opportunity to shut it down.  We strongly suspect the punk shoelhorn who reports say is beside himself with The Sentinel publication and leo trained in computer manipulation is at the bottom of it.  Oh, did we mention that he flat out admitted hacking into my stuff?  Stay tuned until we get to report on shoelhorns firing or arrest, which ever comes first.  since I sent my email at 9 15 but it was not delivered until 9 thirty, it appears to be a 'man in the middle' attack.  The tiny jpeg file would have been delivered almost instantly.

SHERIFF DEPT TAKES REPEAT OFFENDER IN

OR, 'mouth of the south' booked

If the name, Steve Stash doesn't ring a bell, he is the featured subject on a couple of Sentinel articles on our POINTBLANK Page

  As an administrator or former admin on the, "What's Up Onalaska" FB Page, his reputation preceeds him.  His home address came up related to one of the IP addresses out of Onalaska that tried to hack my website.

      Sentinel readers will remember the stories on the water theft to keep the mayors pond full.  His wife works for the water supply or did at the time.

    We will see if he made bond or not and a vehicle description so all of Onalaska can be warned.  Does anybody know if they posted this info on the What's Up Onalaska  page?

BETHANY'S HEAD

While she should have been keeping her eyes on the road, political pundit turned, "digital creator", Bethany Evans gave FB world a peek into the quality of her head. In a fairly short post on her FB feed that was sent to me, she claimed how good and well balanced her head is.  I hate to disappoint you Bethanna but I didn't write that article.  It was good, humorous, well written and factual to the point that I already have the evidence for most statements in it so I published it.  I have offered you the same.  Submit an article that is factual, well written and I will run it and fade the heat like I am for the person who submitted the article.  No reason I can't have a little fun with it.  I have stated over and over that The Sentinel belongs to the community.  Without them, it would die on the vine.

    I hate to break this too you and your happy head but your first commentor  told Polk County people all they need to know.  When your most enthusiastic support comes from a corrupt cop busted by Texas Rangers for dealing drugs in uniform, on duty in a marked patrol vehicle for Trinity Co Sheriff Woodrow Wallace and the same FORMER cop was your beau's golden boy when he was DA, people see thru your rhetoric.

   As far as living in my head, they say there is plenty of room in there. I can't deny enjoying sparring with you over politics but we both know I bat a thousand in that sport.  As for lima's comment about my website not getting out near as far as I think it does, that is you all over.  Does Lee know you and Chris are collaborating.  Does he think your head is on the money same as you do?  

I am going to post one more photo just to show how miniscule your FB rants and mean comments effect or affect The Sentinel.  As you can see, 58 out of a hundred people have a direct link to my page.  Near 30 percent browse behind a VPN as 'other'.  Search engines speaks for it self and that last miniscule entry is you mealy mouth FB "BeMeaners'  lol.

When you insert yourself into East Texas Politics, you are on my radar.  It is that simple.  But I go home and sleep easy.  For Christmas, Not only was the woman who bore me three beautiful sons there, so were the sons, their wives and a boatload of grand kids.  Watching them open gifts is grand.  Still eating the left overs.  

   So tell us all again, Just how is your head?

"CAN YOU CATCH ME NOW?"

Two Pine Valley area folks with fur babies in tow were filmed trespassing and suspected in the theft of a water meter.

We are offering the photo to the public for identification of the suspects.  None of our sources are official but credible private property owners.

   Neighbors speak of multiple incidents of people pirating water from the pubic utility service provider.  Our cursory records seach did not show any arrests or even charges for water theft in the Pine Valley area.  

   According to private property owners, this theft has been reported to the SJC Sheriff Dept.

CAN'T TOUCH THIS

A lesson learned the hard way years ago when a friend sponsored my first website.  It was on the East Texas music scene called, "Honky Tonk Talk"

   First article on Crosby County Fair with Pat Green opening for Gene Watson.

    Then the day the sponser friend wanted to tell me what I was going to write about and I balked.  "Well I will just unplug the son of a bitch" he said.  "Unplug it" was my instant reply".

    Then FB was free so I started doing news there people didn't like.  Now you see absolutely ZERO social media traffic to The Sentinel.  "Others" equal VPN traffic.

FB patrons who criticize  wized up when I would thank them for the traffic and new readers.   Neither zuckerburg or musk or their influential friends can touch this.  Hon tried.  

5/9/2025CORRECTION RETRACTION

As publisher and independent sole owner of The Sentinel Alert, I feel compelled to apologize to the public for the misleading reporting on the 'Pointblank Water gate' story.  Our error was believing FB posts claiming that there was a group whom I labeled, "bitchy britches".  That label is still true, correct and quite accurate,  The Sentinel erred when attaching the adjective, "bunch" and Lord Help me, "brigade" in the prior stories.  

   Turns out to have been just one Puss in boots  or . . . . . .  were those penny loafers with silver dimes in them?  It takes 30 days or so to have the next board meeting where todays minutes will be accepted into the record and therefore available to me.  As soon as the record is available, we will post proof it is  most likely an army of just ONE  loud mouth puddy tat as pictured above.

For all the myriad of Loud Mouse Mouths on FB critical of our community water system here, I just wanted to illustrate why your rants are ineffective.  Normally there are ZERO social media sourced views but you have sent me a few new readers.  Thanks.  

"Someone feeding him information" one of you posted.  It is the supreme expression of your collective ignorance yet.  

    TCEQ is one of if not the most transparent and responsive State Agencies there is.  P.U.C. is public but takes some digging and effort because of the enormity of their mission.   For you 'bitchy britches bunch', making statements as fact about water quality and testing that are bald face lies when easily available public records as recent as March and April that prove your statements are lies is pretty(insert your own explicative)  STUPID!

   Making written accusations of money theft without proof is criminal libel I will bet money it will be the bitchy britches brigade  pa TROLL that has to open their checkbooks if it continues.  

Whose the ONE?  Could be Bill Bob or Frank Morgan or Steve Stash or Chris Lima but not limited to those few.  They forgot to recruit Kieth Black and the Hon bunch that are experienced Sentinel Bashers.  I call their rants my, "Customer Testimonials".

    Just for the record and to top off the song dedication linked above, let me give you yall's collective ambition of P.P.P. (personal political progress),  The answer is "NO".

ONALASKA 

This screen snip is who is living at the address where the router that was used to hack into my website resides.  It is the same address as the Onalaska Water and Gas truck was parked in the driveway.   Did you guys know that there are two, count them, TWO non profits being used to run the Onalaska utilities?  I found that interesting.  

We have an open records request in to see who this truck is assigned to that lives at that address.  Wonder if it might be Mr. Stash or is it Mrs. Stash fighting his virtual battles for him?
