DISTRICT JUDGE CROSSES OVER

Retired long serving District Judge, Joe Ned Dean passed over The Jordan today.  Funeral services will be held at the Groveton Funeral Home at 10 am, Saturday, September 19th and Graveside will be at the Glenwood Cemetary.   The reception will be at The Riata at the square in Groveton.

The Honorable Judge Joe Ned Dean was a Judge's Judge.  He was the epitome of a tough Texas Judge but had a servant's heart and a great sense of fairness.  What an example he was for our judicial system and workers.  How fitting that Judge Dean lived his life, 'In The Trinity, In Trinity, On The Trinity.  He  and his no nonsense method of Justice will be missed.  When his gavel fell, it was serious business.  Thank you Judge Dean.
